So, as we all know, I'm TERRIBLE at journals.
TERRIBLE.
I wanted to update though, and I figured I'd just give y'all the important stuff that's happened/is about to happen xD;

*I had my 18th birthday at Disney World.
And it. ROCKED.
I'm always gonna love Disney World, it runs in my family xD
My mom adores anything and everything Disney.
We're a Disney family.
IT'S GREAT <3


*I got into SCAD.
I am BEYOND excited to be going to SCAD, I freaked out when I opened my letter, it was really really great xD
I'm so excited, I'm excited for the friends that are already there, and the new ones I'm gonna make, and just...EVERYTHING about this experience thats about to happen


*I went to Disney World and Harry Potter World with the band and got to march in a parade down Main Street.
OH MY GOD, IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
I had made friends earlier with these two little kids in line for Rapunzel (yes I waited in line to meet a Princess. I'm 9 years old at Disney, and I don't even care.) and they were dressed like pirates.
They told me they were gonna be in the pirate parade, and I told them I was gonna be in the parade tonight, and too look for a girl in blue with sparkles on her and hair like Tink's (We used these things called sock buns for color guard. They were very sleek and professional looking xD)
AND THEN, AND THEN, AND THEN THAT NIGHT, AS I WAS MARCHING, I HEARD MY NAME BEING CALLED FROM SOMEWHERE ON THE SIDE, AND THERE THEY WERE WITH THEIR MOM AND DAD, AND THEY WERE CHEERING FOR ME, AND I SMILED AND WAVED, AND I WAS ON SUCH A HIGH AFTER THAT, OH MY GOD.
It is my dream to work at Disney World, and being in that parade felt a little like I was, even though I know I wasn't really xD
It was just a really great feeling, and I hope I get to feel it again sometime
Harry Potter World was a blast, just as it had been the last time I went
I loved it, it's so much fun, and the waits for the rides are totally worth it.


*I graduated high school.
YEAH, GOODBYE WESTWOOD.
(I really hated my school xD)


*I went to Japan.
It was BEAUTIFUL. And, believe it or not, I actually enjoyed the plane ride over. For those who are unaware, I HATE planes.
I hate them. So it was a big deal that I enjoyed this flight, even if it WAS 11+ hours long xD
I loved Japan, I loved everything about Japan. We went to Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Kyoto.
I loved shopping in Tokyo, and seeing the Imperial Palace. Everyone is so much nicer in Japan, I'm not even kidding. And, I got to hang out with my friend Naoko
That was really fun <3
We went to a Shinto shrine in Kyoto, and it was beautiful. Eryn (my little sister) and I hiked allllll the way up to the very top of the hill, through all of the red gates, and it took so long, oh my god. We felt so out of shape, because we were sweating and out of breath halfway up, and these grandma's were literally speeding past us xD
We also went to Nijo Castle, and that was really cool It was very very pretty.
Also, if you're blonde in Japan, it's a good thing xD; A lot of school kids at the castle were looking at us, and asked to take pictures with my sister and I. It was cool, not gonna lie xD
In Hiroshima, we stayed in a traditional style room, and it was actually very comfortable. I think I slept the best there xD
We did go to the bomb site, and it was..I don't really know how to put it.
It was a weird feeling. It was both one of gratitude for being there, and seeing it, and one of feeling like I shouldn't be there at all.
I dunno how to explain it, really.
All in all, this was the best trip I've ever been on. I want to move to Japan, I really do, I loved it so much.
And before anyone asks, no, it's not a "OHMYGODJAPANKAWAIIDESUIBELONGHERECUSOFANIME" reason, I genuinely enjoyed the culture and atmosphere.
(Although, at one point in....Kyoto I think, Eryn and I turned on the TV, and Naruto was on, and we had NO IDEA what was happening, all we know is that they had fucking mechas, I'm not even kidding. It was hilarious xD)
Annnnd then, we flew back to the US, where it's 10,000 degrees, and it sucks xD;


*I saw Harry Potter at midnight.
But I actually went to this Potter-A-Thon all day at the Drafthouse, where they showed every single Harry Potter film in a row (with breaks in between so you could go to the bathroom and stuff xD) and it was great.
My mom, Ashlyn, and myself got there at 2:45 am.
And we left, the next day, at 3:00 am.
We literally spent 24 hours watching Harry Potter, and it was wonderful.
And I cried. Because Harry Potter is a big part of my life, it really is.
I grew up reading the books, and watching the movies, and buying the merchandise, and finally flipping out at Harry Potter World, and seeing the conclusion was like an ending to my childhood in a way.
But a good ending. An ending with a BANG


*I turned 19.
Not a huge deal, ALTHOUGH my cake was the T.A.R.D.I.S ;D
It lit up and everything, it was AWESOME.
And Captain America came out on my birthday.
That was pretty cool. And I really liked it
I ALSO really enjoyed The Avengers trailer.
A LOT.
Specifically the split seconds with Loki in them.

AND JOSS WHEDON IS DIRECTING IT, UNFUNFUNF, IT'S GONNA BE SO GOOOOOOOOOOOD.
I'm super excited x3


*I got hit by a car
AND WALKED AWAY FROM IT WITHOUT BREAKING ANYTHING OR DYING.
My shoulder and knee got cut up, and a bit on my hands, but that's it.
And my shoulder is totally healed now, I've just got a kinda gross scaby thing on my knee, but that should go away soon xD


*Afest is soon, and I need to finish costumes.
I'm currently in the middle of making Haku from Spirited Away, and Fire Nation Disguise Aang from ATLA ;D
Afest is gonna be great, I'm always pumped for it


Annnnnnnnd, I think that's all the big stuff I can think of
